Let’s just get one thing straight. Whenever my couples say they want a fall engagement session in Colorado, I say yes please! Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year. I love the transition to sweaters, boots, chilly mornings, pumpkin everything, and mostly – fall colors!  We get such gorgeous colors with our aspens out here. So I clearly always jump at the chance to do a fall engagement session in Colorado!

Now, on to the couple of the hour : Alison and Robert! These lovebirds are such amazing humans! They are both athletes who met running track in college together. What a fun way to meet your significant other and spend your college experience together!

We had a lovely time shooting their fall engagement session at Lair O’ The Bear park. You will quickly see that these two are absolute naturals in front of the camera. They are so comfortable with each other and have incredible chemistry. You would think they’ve known each other their whole lives. They are also so easy to talk to, and are just plain lovely to be around! We had our shoot scheduled for a few days later, but the forecast was calling for snow and freezing cold. Alison and Robert really wanted fall color, so we bumped the session up by a few days. They flew in from a weekend in Palm Springs the day of our session, and basically came straight to the shoot. And yes, they still looked this good! We timed it perfectly and caught the beautiful fall colors just a couple days before the snow hit!

I can’t wait for their wedding next August at Sanctuary Golf Course! It’s going to be a beautiful day surrounded by all their favorite people! In the meantime, please enjoy my faves from their gorgeous, fun loving fall engagement session in Colorado!
