Intimate Colorado Backyard Wedding | Colorado Mountain Wedding Photographer | Kathryn Kim Photography | Colorado Wedding Photographer
This intimate Colorado backyard wedding is hard for me to write about. In a good way! I just have a really difficult time putting my feelings about this couple into words. Meeting and working with them has deeply affected me. I get emotional every time I look at their engagement or wedding photos. Let me back up. I first met with Jess and Nathan at a coffee shop to get to know each other. Within about 5 minutes of being with them, you can’t help but love them and be in support of their marriage. They are two of the most joyful, funny, light hearted people who adore each other like crazy. You can tell they have a deep rooted friendship and are 100% themselves with each other. It is a beautiful thing to experience.
A few months after our meeting, we did their Evergreen Colorado engagement session which you may recall. This session peeled back the layers a bit more and let me get to know them even better. They have such a romance, and their chemistry is powerful. At one point, I played some music and had them slow dance. It felt so intimate I started to feel as though I shouldn’t be there, and I even teared up. This is just a glimpse into who they are. So when they told me they wanted an intimate Colorado backyard wedding, you know I was 100% on board!
They had their wedding at Jess’s boss’s house out in Parker. It was absolutely perfection, and the wedding screamed Jess and Nathan with worship, outbursts of dancing, sunglasses, chick-fil-a. It was amazing. I truly believe these were created to be together, and I am so excited for their marriage. I know together they will change the world! Enjoy my faves from this incredible intimate Colorado backyard wedding! And try not to fall in love with these two lovebirds!

Sarah Fosco - These are gorgeous! Quite possibly my favorites of yours I’ve ever seen (and you know I’m a huge fan!). I know it’s Colorado but some of those sunset portraits make me think this was in Hawaii or something! Great work!
Jamie Kraus - This looks like such a fun wedding! I love the scorecards for the first kiss. That is hilarious! And you’re so right, you can really see their intimacy and connection when they hold each other. Amazing!
