I am so excited to share Kelli and Karson’s incredible Lyon’s Farmette wedding! These two are just plain awesome. We had such a fun time during their engagement session at Meyer Ranch Park in Conifer in the fall, and I knew their wedding would be nothing short of amazing! They held a stunning summer Lyons Farmette wedding in the gorgeous Lyons, Colorado. This was my first time photographing at this mountain wedding venue, and it is SUCH a photographer’s dream!

They have livestock roaming around on the grounds, and cute little wooden signs up everywhere. They also have gardens and a greenhouse on site. Not to mention a tractor and a little creek running through the property! There are so many cute spots to photograph here. Kelli and her bridesmaids got ready in the cute airstream trailer/bridal suite at the venue. To no one’s surprise, Kelli was extremely calm and just so excited and ready to marry the love of her life. Karson was a little nervous, but mostly just excited!

Lyons Farmette Wedding

Their ceremony was held outdoors in front of the creek, which was perfectly beautiful. Their officiant was a good friend of theirs, and he had plenty of jokes and entertainment to go around. It was definitely a fun ceremony! Guests got to mingle around the venue during cocktail hour, and then the reception was held outdoors as well. They had tables set up under a beautiful massive tree branch with a stunning chandelier hanging from it. All of the reception décor was beautiful, including some handmade trinkets. Dancing was held in the barn in the back of the venue. Kelli and Karson had a live band, which is always so much fun for a reception!

Michele and Trenton’s engagement session was an absolute blast! We shot at Meyer Ranch Park in Conifer, Colorado, which is one of my fave spots! I love the golden grassy fields, aspen trees, and lovely mountain views. Michele and Trenton’s love is so tangible- it’s lighthearted, joyful, romantic, and fun! Trenton spent the whole session making Michele laugh, and they were just so much fun to photograph!

Thankfully we had a little bit of yellow left in the beautiful aspen trees for this late fall engagement session! Enjoy some of my faves from this awesome session!

{annie + calvin} boulder engagement photographer | south mesa trailhead

Annie and Calvin’s dreamy engagement session was filled with mountains, fields, romance, love, tattoos,and sunshine!

We began the session at the gorgeous Flatirons Vista Trailhead in Boulder. We had incredible sunlight and a stunning view of the mountains! Annie and Calvin flocked around in the tall, grassy fields and we had a great time shooting their engagement session! Their love is very soft and sweet, and was lovely to capture on camera. Not to mention that Annie was killin it with those piercing blue eyes!

Our next location was a trail in Eldorado Springs. This is such a tiny, quirky town that is very interesting to drive through to say the least! The mountains made for a perfect backdrop to finish out the session.

{julie+bill} estes park, colorado cabin wedding photographer

Julie and Bill had a small, intimate wedding at a private cabin in Estes Park. Even though having a wedding in the middle of November in the mountains is pretty risky regarding the weather,it worked out beautifully for them! I began the day photographing Julie and some of her friends getting ready, and Julie was calm and excited for the big day! I grabbed a few quick shots of Bill getting dressed too, and then it was time for some pre ceremony family photos. Julie and Bill opted to not have a first look, which is always special! They were able to have the ceremony outdoors, which was just stunning with an incredible mountain backdrop. Julie and Bill are very simple, down-to-earth people and this laid-back wedding represented them perfectly. They only had about 45 guests, and the ceremony was standing room only. I think that’s always a fun way to change it up and keep it nice and intimate with those closest to you. The reception was held inside of the cabin, and there was a big deck for guests to mill about and catch the gorgeous mountain sunset. They shared a first dance and then spent most of the reception mingling with all of the special people who had come to celebrate them on their beautiful wedding day. The toasts were given by their parents, and were very touching and sweet. Julie and Bill, I had a wonderful time photographing your small and intimate cabin wedding! {steffy + ben} roswell, ga wedding photographer

Steffy and Ben are such a sweet, incredible couple! I have actually known Steffy for awhile because her sister Kristin has been one of my best friends since college! Kristin had told me all about how Steffy had this new boyfriend Ben, and that the whole family loved him because he was just one of those solid, great guys. I was so excited upon hearing of their engagement, and that they wanted to book me as their wedding photographer! I love photographing weddings in Georgia. It gives me the opportunity to visit family and friends, which is so special because it’s hard being away from everyone out here in Colorado.
These two got married at Naylor Hall in Roswell, Georgia which is such a lovely, quaint little southern venue. It’s an old house that was built in the 1840’s! Steffy and Ben had their wedding in December, and everyone was surprised they were able to pull off an outdoor wedding! The weather was just gorgeous. The sun was out the whole day, and it was absolutely perfect.
I started the day photographing the ladies getting ready upstairs in Naylor Hall, in the cute bridal suite. Steffy was a little nervous, but also so excited to get married to her love!
I grabbed some getting ready photos of the guys up in the grooms’ suite. Ben got all of his groomsmen NFL jerseys, which was such a unqiue gift and they loved it. The ceremony was on the front porch, which was stunning! Afterwards, the guests moved indoors for the reception, which took place all throughout Naylor Hall. The reception was fabulous, filled with tons of great food and dancing! Steffy and Ben, I wish you the absolute best in your marriage! Congratulations!
