I am SO excited to share this post! Kelsey and Marshall are friends of ours, and it’s actually pretty hilarious how we met! It all started when my husband and I decided to play on a dodgeball team through Red Rocks church this past winter. You wouldn’t think playing dodgeball as adults would be too crazy, but there were definitely certain teams or individuals who were extremely competitive and intense (ahem…. Marshall.) Our team had a particular disliking to a few people on the royal blue team a.k.a. Kelsey and Marshall’s team, because they were a bit intense for us and potentially weren’t always the most honest about calling themselves out when they were hit. My husband actually got so mad that he totally lost it during one game against them, and started straight up cheating, and he later had to apologize haha. So dodgeball ends and Chris wants to play men’s basketball, but all the teams are full. So he shows up to the games the first night, and asks every single team if he can play with them, and who says yes? Marshall! Chris texts me and says- babe, you’ll never believe who let me play on his team tonight. The redhead from the royal blue team in dodgeball! And he’s actually really nice! Hahaha. The next week at basketball, Kelsey and Marshall had just gotten engaged, and I told Marshall I was a wedding photographer and gave him my business card. He proudly went home and told Kelsey he had found their wedding photographer, and the rest is history! We love these two and couldn’t be happier for them! Getting to capture their amazing wedding at The Pines at Genesee was such an honor, and so much fun! Kelsey and Marshall, we wish you all the best!
This engagement session was such a breath of fresh air! Laura is currently a flight attendant, and shortly after starting that job she realized she wanted to be the one flying the plane! So she’s in flight school now, and she and Mitchell actually met at the airport, because he does IT work for them. They are doing a bit of an aviation theme for decor at the wedding reception, and she also wanted to have their engagement session at Centennial Airport. She personally flies some of these planes in school, so it was really awesome to dive into her world for a day! I think themed sessions that represent you as a couple are so much fun! This session was a blast, and how adorable is her polka dot dress?! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next summer! Enjoy!
This whole shoot is AMAZING!!! Awesome photography. Beautiful!
Leanna and Austin are such a sweet couple! They share a love for coffee, so we started their session at the cozy Windy Saddle Cafe in downtown Golden. Their lattes made for adorable photos, and warmed them up for our chilly shoot outdoors! We ventured on to the Clear Creek History Park afterwards, which is always lovely. I am so excited to shoot their wedding in June!
love how you capture the individual spirit. Each session you do is unique to that couple! Awesome!
I am very excited to share this session! Ellen and Robb are adorable and we had a great time shooting their engagement at the top of lookout mountain. It was snowy and cold, but made for some gorgeous photos! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in July!
[…] and Robb! I am so excited to share their dreamy Estes Park Wedding with you! If you recall their Lookout Mountain engagement session was absolutely beautiful and snowy! Ellen’s good friend and her husband own a home next to […]
Thanks for checking out Adam and Kristin’s gorgeous wedding at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton! This was my first time shooting at this venue, and it was absolutely beautiful! There is a stunning view of the Red Rocks, which is always breathtaking! Kristin and Adam’s love is so sweet and was an honor to document their beautiful wedding! Be sure to revisit their Elk Meadow Open Space engagement session in Evergreen to remember how cute these two are!
I began the day at the Adam’s house with some getting ready shots of the guys, and some details of the invitations etc. Adam was pretty relaxed and just so excited to marry his sweet love! I headed over to Arrowhead Golf Club where Kristin was getting dressed with her best ladies. Their ceremony had a perfect view of the golf course and the Red Rocks, and I know we were all amazed with the beauty! Kristin and Adam and I drove in a golf cart to some fun locations for these stunning bride and groom photos! It was a blast. The reception was held in a tent near the ceremony site, and it was just perfect. There were delicious sweets and everyone was busting out their best dance moves. It was a beautiful and fun wedding and I can’t wait to shoot at Arrowhead Golf Club again! Contact me if you’re searching for a Littleton wedding photographer! I would love to chat with you about your amazing wedding! Enjoy my faves from this fun day!
