They met in college at a school event. Logan was the cute boy eating lunch by himself, and Christine felt some compassion and went over to sit with him. She claims he wouldn’t leave her alone after that 😉
We three decided to brave the strong winds and knee-deep snow to get an incredible engagement session in Dillon! It was a blast. Enjoy these while snuggled up with a blanket and hot chocolate 🙂
These two lovebirds are extra dear to my heart! Mimi just so happens to be my husband’s sister! So technically WE are sisters now, which is awesome. Mimi and Calen moved from Denver to Omaha about the same time Chris and I moved out to Colorado. Lucky for us they recently moved back to Denver, and I was able to do an engagement shoot for them in Omaha to commemorate their time there. The first location they chose was where they first met, at a friend’s backyard wedding. And then we found an awesome corn field on the side of the road which we thought had Nebraska written all over it. We got confronted on our way out by a woman who claimed that “if her granddaddy had caught us out in his field he would’ve come after us with his shotgun.” Thank God we avoided that part of the Nebraska experience! I hope you guys enjoy these, and I can’t wait for Mimi and Calen’s wedding in June!

Leah and Kyle met just over a year ago at a country bar in Denver called Grizzly Rose. Leah is funny, Kyle is sweet, and they both love cowboy boots. Match made in heaven 🙂 Kyle is in the military and was home for a quick week around Christmas before going back to Afghanistan. Thankfully we were able to put a shoot together at the Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins. It was gorgeous, but an insanely windy and cold day! These two were total troopers and stuck it out until we were all pretty numb. Haha. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in August!
